Between Occupancy Maintenance (BOM) Contract In May of 2004 SKE assumed responsibility for Between Occupancy Maintenance (BOM) at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. Starting from scratch, we built an organization that, in three months – May thru July - successfully performed 542 BOMs. Today, we continue to perform BOM on 1,832 permanent party and student quarters, of which 270 are Historical. In addition to normal BOM repairs, we perform whatever additional repairs are needed in order to prepare the quarters for occupancy. In performing this work, SKE employs a number of subcontractors as well as in-house trades, managing as many as 14 subcontractors and an in-house workforce of 22 simultaneously. Individual tasks include floor replacement, drywall, kitchen and bathroom replacement, sidewalk replacement, complete HVAC system installation, sewer repair and electrical and plumbing repair. On any given day, we have simultaneously managed Task Order execution at over 30 different work sites on the installation. Our unique Computerized Maintenance Management System, developed by SKE specifically for BOM work, keeps us on track and on time.
