Job Order Contract
SKE was the chosen contractor for the Job Order Contract (JOC) at Fort Leavenworth, KS, for the Department of the Army, Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District. This indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for construction includes minor construction, repair, and alteration of real property at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Work is accomplished by task orders, issued on an as-needed basis for a wide range of repair and maintenance within this installation. This contract value is approximately $30 Million and includes one base and four option contract years.

The specific scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: repair or replacement of mechanical, electrical or fire protection and detection systems; concrete; asphalt; repairs related to building renovation or demolition; interior remodeling work including carpentry, painting, floor and wall covering; renovation of historic structures; repair or replacement of infrastructure systems; correction of drainage problems; repair or upgrade of structural problems, including seismic upgrades; repair or replacement of roofing, siding, windows, doors or other miscellaneous architectural elements, etc. Work may be accomplished in different types of facilities including: administrative; housing; vehicle maintenance; industrial; warehouses, etc.

Under this contract, SKE provides all planning, programming, administration, and management necessary to provide all repair or construction and related services. The work is conducted in strict accordance with the contract, to include all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, codes, or directives. SKE insures that all work provided meets, or exceeds, critical reliability rates or tolerances specified or included in the specifications. SKE also provides all related administration services to perform the work such as supply functions, quality control, job order shop operations, financial control, preparing and submitting required reports, and submitting necessary information as specified under this contract and within individual task orders.
